There are three ways to win this game (4 if with Agora expansion): Alternatively, you can build up a military to conquer your opponent, or progress on technology to the point that you're just too amazing of a civilization. Over the course of each round, you'll be acquiring money and points from the different cards played or other actions.

However, you're doing this along with another player who has access to the same resources and buildings you do.
